In the framework of the orientation of the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University to develop the educational process through the expansion of e-learning activities, the Faculty of Medicine opens an E-learning studio under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matiny, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.

This studio is the first professional studio in the Egyptian universities; it was established by international quality standards under the supervision of experts from the Media Production City. It was implemented by a group of specialized companies in this field.

The sound and vibration tests were conducted through the National Research Center to determine the suitability of the studio and the accuracy of its implementation and received a certificate stating that, as stated by Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel-Al Director of the Center for E-learning at the faculty.

The studio is used for lectures, practical training, clinical screening, medical examinations such as television, etc., and the integration of materials recorded in the curricula of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The professional ethical aspects were taken into account in the case of disregard of patients during the filming in terms of informed consent and respect for the patient's privacy and not to use the registered material except for educational purposes.

This studio represents a qualitative leap in the development of medical education. It aims at enriching the educational process by integrating e-learning with traditional learning in one system, including a combination of direct delivery in the lecture hall and self-learning, which will contribute to the continuous development of medical education, A new system of medical education in Egypt is scheduled to be implemented from the next academic year.

E-learning is one of the most important learning styles nowadays. Technology is the language of the age, and education technology has become a basic necessity for the development of educational systems and the improvement of different aspects of learning. It provides content based on multimedia (audio, image, text, motion) (Computer, Internet). It gives the student a window that enables him to have constant and interactive knowledge of the scientific material. It exceeds the limits of space and time and enables the student to use the scientific material and learn about it continuously.
