Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, opened an e-learning studio at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, which is the first professional studio in Egyptian universities.

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat confirmed that the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams has witnessed a qualitative shift through the application of the latest in the field of medical education. The existence of such a studio, which depends on the integration of e-learning and traditional education in one system to contribute to keep pace with the continuous development of medical education in Egypt.

He added that the university administration does not hesitate to provide any material or moral support for any development in favor of the university education system as a whole, pointing to the need for communication between generations because science is the result of accumulated experience.

Prof. Dr. Fathi Al-Sharqawi added that what is happening in the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Ain Shams as a whole confirms that we are in front of a mindset capable of modifying the reality and this is the most important thing for the Egyptian man. He pointed out that the Faculty of Medicine has an enlightened leadership that makes us proud of what happens every day after a day of development.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sengab praised the development witnessed by the Faculty of Medicine, making it a role model among the Egyptian universities, which is beneficial to the scientific and academic research in Egypt.

Major General Ayman Shafei, Director of the Faculty of Medicine of the Armed Forces, stressed that medical education has become compatible with everything that is new and that this studio represents a cultural shift and quality in the field of medical learning. He pointed out that there is full cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two faculties of Ain Shams and medicine of the armed forces.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini pointed out that this studio is the first professional studio in Egyptian universities. The studio established according to international quality standards under the supervision of experts from the Media Production City and implemented by a group of specialized companies in this field.

In addition, E-learning is one of the most important types of learning at present, as it represents an indispensable necessity for the development of educational systems and improving the different aspects of learning. Using multimedia (audio, image, text, motion) through modern electronic media (computer, the Internet), providing the student with a window that enables him to view the scientific material continuously and interactively.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel-Aal added that the studio is used in photography lectures, practical training, clinical examinations and medical tests such as television and other programs. As well as the integration of the materials recorded in the curricula of undergraduate and postgraduate students, confirming that the professional ethical aspects were taken into account and respect the privacy of the patient and the use of the registered material only for educational purposes.

Then Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat gave the shield of the faculty to the production team of Media Production City under the leadership of Prof. Osama Heikal Chairman of the Egyptian Company for Media Production City.
